This position is responsible for sourcing and procurement of non-production materials, including packaging materials, operating supplies, equipment, tooling, spare parts, service, etc. Support Strategic Buyers in sourcing
and supplier development activities.
About the job:
- Source high-quality and low-cost MRO items, accountable for material cost reduction, on-time delivery, and zero defects on MRO items.
- Prepare RFQ/RFP or bidding invitation, and organize bidding meetings.
- Organize contract review and contract or price negotiation.
- Organize and coordinate supplier assessment and audits.
- Drive process improvement to ensure compliance with requirements in areas of internal control and environment.
- Process RTV.
- Manage the capacity of suppliers to ensure it meets Littelfuse's needs.
- Effectively manage inventory by using lean techniques, e.g., Kanban, JIT, etc..
- Ensure payment accuracy.
- SAP supply base data maintenance, e.g., source list, PIR, etc.
About you:
- Graduate of any 4-year course
- 3+ years of MRO purchasing experience in electronics, automotive, electrical, or related industry.
- Fluent (Written and Verbal) in English.
- Proficient with MS Office.
- SAP knowledge
- Time management and sense of urgency.
