Job Description
Purpose of the Job
This Account Manager position working with our leading Consumer Electronics Brand client, is responsible for the execution of permanent retail fixture projects. You will be the beating heart of your projects working closely with departments in the business to facilitate all aspects of the project’s development and execution. Your job starts on receipt of client brief and finishes at delivery or installation for the client.
You’ll work directly with client and internal team members as the key project owner, and gather all relevant project data and make sure deliverables are on time and to budget. Strong spreadsheet and data management skills required, particularly working with Google docs as this is the client's preferred way of working.
The areas of spend under management with this leading Consumer Electronics Brand is permanent POSM.
This role operates on a blended basis between the local HH Global office, client / vendor site(s) and home as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
Fully understand client requirements, ensuring all information is accurate and complete
Establish realistic, achievable budgets and timelines, particularly for design and supply
Communicate requirements clearly and empower teams to deliver successfully
Lead project kick-off and handover meetings across Concept, Technical Design, and Supply
Create, manage, and enforce comprehensive project plans with aligned internal and external milestones
Act as the primary client lead for project delivery and stakeholder communication
Assess and communicate the impact of project changes pre- and post-order
Build and maintain client-facing project tools (timelines, budgets, trackers, CPAs)
Verify and control cost estimates, documenting assumptions and ensuring budget accuracy
Monitor budget and schedule compliance, escalating risks and driving cost improvements
Set and adjust team priorities, resolving issues and unblocking delivery challenges
Lead cross-functional meetings and drive continuous improvement through performance review and efficiency initiatives
Knowledge, Skills + Experience
Strong track record of successful customer management with bespoke projects, preferably in permanent materials such as wood, plastics and steel
Technical knowledge of POSM campaign management. Experience working with Consumer Electronics Brands would be ideal
Experience working directly with global brands or retailers directly
Experience of Microsoft Office, including strong excel skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Good interpersonal and motivational skills
Highly numerate and able to analyze and add value to information
Attention to detail and well developed organizational skills, able to multi-task on simultaneous projects, while working with multiple different clients
Demonstrates ability to take initiative and problem solve independently. Does not wait to be told exactly what to do
Essential Criteria
Excellent communication skills – the ability to engage with our client and build strong longstanding relationships
Experience within Client Engagement role(s) across a range of the project and spend areas detailed above
Technical knowledge of POSM campaign management
A strong focus on operational excellence - a highly organised, structured and trustworthy individual that can balance working within a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining an excellent level of service delivery
Commercial awareness - experience of working with a supply chain to deliver against committed savings using various commercial methodologies
