  OVERVIEW We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Distribution Warehouse Inventory Control Supervisor to oversee and manage all aspects of inventory control within our busy distribution warehouse. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate stock levels, efficient inventory management processes, and adherence to company standards and procedures. This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to analyze data effectively, and a commitment to maintaining a smooth and productive warehouse operation. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Inventory Management: Supervise and coordinate all inventory control activities, including cycle counts, stock audits, and reconciliation of physical inventories with records. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve inventory procedures to enhance accuracy, reduce discrepancies, and optimize warehouse efficiency. Team Leadership: Lead a team of inventory control associates, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure high levels of productivity and accuracy. Completing performance evaluations and corrective actions. Data Analysis: Analyze inventory data and reports to identify trends, discrepancies, and potential issues, and take proactive measures to address them. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, adjustments, and movements. Generate regular reports on inventory status, variance analysis, and key metrics for management review. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred. At least 2 years in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of inventory management and proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel for data analysis. Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Effective communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with team members and management. Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or evenings, as needed. Ability to travel to other locations, as needed. Experience in implementing process improvements and lean principles in warehouse operations is desirable. Cherry picker certification and knowledge of warehouse safety protocols are a plus. Working Conditions: This position operates in a warehouse environment where there may be exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures (THIS IS NOT A CLIMATE CONTROLLED FACILITY). Physical requirements include standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
