Post-Doctoral or Scientist with a Masters Degree

If this is you, then the Utah Public Health Laboratory has a fully funded position for 2 years. As a post-masters scientist, you will assist with enhancing our current screening assays in the mass spectrometry laboratory of the newborn screening section. The Utah NBS Program focuses on constant process improvement for the best outcomes possible for infants born in Utah. The post-doctoral scientist directly supports the DHHS mission of improving the health of infants born in Utah State by: Expanding our LC-MS/MS platform with additional assays for new conditions Researching new methods and equipment. Validating methods and equipment. Performing a wide variety of laboratory tests to detect treatable heritable disorders in newborns.
