Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Principal Specialist with deep expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and complex integrations. You will design and build scalable solutions, lead code quality and design standards, and own CI/CD pipelines with GitHub as a first-class workflow. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong software engineering fundamentals with platform mastery and DevOps discipline.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end technical delivery on Salesforce across Sales/Service/Experience Cloud and Platform apps.
  • Design and implement robust, scalable, and testable solutions using Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, and asynchronous patterns.
  • Lead complex integrations using REST/SOAP/Bulk/Composite APIs, Named Credentials, and secure OAuth flows.
  • Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or equivalent) for package-based development, automated testing, and gated releases.
  • Enforce GitHub-first development practices: branching strategy, code reviews, PR quality checks, and release tagging.
  • Ensure data integrity, performance tuning, and platform governor-limit-aware designs.
  • Champion security-by-design: enforce CRUD/FLS and sharing, secret management, and secure callouts.
  • Drive automated testing strategy: Apex unit/integration tests and smoke/regression in pipelines.
  • Mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and contribute to technical standards and documentation.
  • Collaborate with Product, Architecture, QA, and DevOps to plan releases and improve SDLC maturity.
     

Required Qualifications

  • 10-12+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
  • Expert-level Apex (OO design, async: Queueable/Batch/Schedulable/Future, Platform Events, CDC).
  • Advanced LWC (composition, wire/adapters, LDS, caching, performance profiling, SLDS/design tokens).
  • Strong SOQL/SOSL with selective querying, large-data strategies, and query optimization.
  • Proven integration experience:
  • REST/SOAP, Bulk API v1/v2, Composite/Graph APIs
  • OAuth 2.0 (JWT Bearer, Web Server), Named Credentials, External Credentials/Auth Providers
  • CI/CD with GitHub (mandatory):
  • GitHub Actions workflows for SFDX/packaging/deployments
  • Release management (changelogs), PR templates, issue templates
  • Salesforce DevOps and packaging:
  • Salesforce DX (scratch orgs, source tracking)
  • Org strategy and environment promotion best practices
  • Testing excellence:
  • Apex unit/integration testing, test isolation/factories, dependency injection/mocking
  • Jest for LWC, static analysis (PMD/Code Analyzer), coverage thresholds and quality gates
  • Solid software engineering fundamentals: design patterns, clean code, refactoring, performance, resilience.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
