Senior Software Engineer, Core Platform

This role sits at the heart of a high-scale engineering environment responsible for powering core APIs and foundational systems used across one of the world’s largest online communities. You will design and build highly scalable backend services that support listings, posts, comments, media delivery, and critical data models used as system-of-record across the platform. Operating in a distributed, high-availability architecture, your work will directly impact performance, reliability, and user experience for hundreds of millions of users globally. This is a deeply technical role where backend excellence meets large-scale system design. You will collaborate with experienced engineers in a fully remote environment, contributing to systems that handle massive traffic volumes with extreme uptime requirements. In addition to building critical infrastructure, you will also play a key mentoring role, helping elevate engineering standards across the team.
