Job Description

Euroclear is an organisation operating within the global financial system, providing post-trade services that support the safe and efficient transfer of securities and cash between market participants. Through its operations, the organisation contributes to the stability and functioning of financial markets.

Within Euroclear, a range of teams deliver operational, technological and business support services, including transaction processing, transformation initiatives and internal communications. Interns joining the organisation will be placed within one of these teams, where they will undertake a research project and gain exposure to the functioning of a financial market infrastructure (FMI) organisation. They will also collaborate with colleagues across different locations and disciplines.

This internship offers an opportunity to gain practical experience, contribute to ongoing projects and develop an understanding of how global financial organisations operate.

Key responsibilities

  • Supporting day-to-day operational and administrative activities within the team
  • Contributing to ongoing projects and internal initiatives
  • Assisting with research tasks and knowledge development
  • Collaborating with team members across functions and locations

Candidate profile

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree programme 
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Good organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Proactive, accountable and willing to learn
