Overview:
We are seeking a highly accomplished Technical Architect to lead the strategic vision, design, and scaling of our enterprise-grade UI Automation frameworks. In this role, you will architect cross-platform automation solutions leveraging Robot Framework, Python, Appium, and Selenium to validate complex applications spanning Web, Mobile, and cutting-edge XR/AR/VR devices. You will define the automation roadmap, bridge hardware-software boundaries, and ensure robust, end-to-end quality engineering in an Agile ecosystem.

 Requires a B.Tech./B.E.. in Electronics and Communication Engineering or Computer Science with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on developing test automation framework

Key Responsibilities: 

• Design, build, and scale unified, keyword-driven and data-driven automation frameworks for Mobile/XR.
• Define the long-term UI automation strategy, establishing coding standards, architectural patterns, and tool selections that optimize test execution velocity and reliability.
• Architect innovative workarounds and automation layers to handle unique XR challenges, gesture inputs, and hardware-software integration.
• Architect the integration of automation suites into continuous testing pipelines across local, cloud, and real-device grids.
• Establish best practices, training and mentoring automation engineers in writing modular, reusable libraries.
• Collaborate with SMEs/Domain Leads/Customer and other stakeholders and ensure quality of deliverables

Required Knowledge & Qualifications: 

• Expertise in various automation tools Robot Framework, Selenium, TestComplete etc.
• Deep, architectural-level expertise in Robot Framework, including creating custom Python libraries, listener interfaces, and handling complex test data structures.
• Expert-level knowledge of Appium for native, hybrid, and web apps across Android, iOS, and customized XR operating systems.
• Strong programming foundation in Python applying Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) design patterns. Familiarity with C++, C#, or Java is highly valued.
• Full lifecycle API testing and integration testing using Postman or programmatic Python libraries (e.g., Requests) wrapped into Robot Framework keywords.
• Proven experience architecting and maintaining parallel execution infrastructure on Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong proficiency in Linux environments and Shell Scripting for test environment configuration and device provisioning.
• Advanced knowledge of Git workflows and database verification using SQL.
• Strong understanding of XR/AR/VR devices, spatial computing, and hardware-software integration testing.
• Experience or exposure to automated testing of embedded devices or systems where standard UI locators are limited.

Desired Skills

• Experience with complex web applications, managing asynchronous behavior, shadow DOMs, and cross-browser testing.
• Familiarity with Computer Vision concepts (e.g., OpenCV, Appium-Axe) for visual validation of 3D objects and spatial UI where standard locators (XPath, IDs) fail.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi profiling) as they relate to device-to-host communication.
• Experience with Performance and Reliability testing concepts (e.g., measuring frame rates, memory leaks, and UI responsiveness under load).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence for tracking quality metrics and test reporting dashboards.
