Job Description
Corporate Director, Talent Development

The Corporate Director, Talent Development will lead the vision, strategy, and execution of enterprise-wide learning, leadership development, succession planning, and talent advancement programs designed to create a dynamic environment where associates can learn, grow, and thrive throughout every stage of their career.
This leader will partner across corporate and field operations to build a best-in-class talent development function that strengthens organizational capability, builds leadership bench strength, and reinforces Omni’s culture through our Omni Success Drivers and "Grow the garden" philosophy.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Development Strategy & Leadership
Design and execute a comprehensive enterprise-wide Talent Development Strategy aligned with Omni’s business objectives and long-term growth plans.
Identify opportunities to enhance and evolve existing training and development offerings across all levels of the organization.
Develop innovative learning solutions that support operational excellence, leadership readiness, and associate engagement.
Leadership Development & Curriculum Design
Create and implement a strategic leadership curriculum supporting associates through every career stage—from onboarding through executive leadership.
Own and execute key development programs, including:
Leaders and Managers in Development
OMD Series
SDDPS
Executive in Development
New Leader Orientation, leadership summits, and development conferences.
Succession Planning & Talent Matrix Ownership
Lead enterprise succession planning processes to ensure strong leadership pipelines and organizational continuity.
Own and manage the company’s Talent Matrix, including talent assessment, calibration, readiness evaluation, and leadership bench strength planning.
Partner with executive leadership and property teams to identify high-potential talent and create targeted development pathways.
Build actionable development plans to accelerate readiness for key roles across the organization.
Ascend Mentorship & Career Growth
Oversee and expand Omni’s Ascend Mentorship Program, creating structured mentorship opportunities that accelerate development and internal mobility.
Foster a culture of coaching, sponsorship, and career ownership across all levels of the organization.
Measure mentorship effectiveness and long-term career progression outcomes.
Property & Operational Partnership
Partner closely with hotel and regional leadership to identify capability gaps and prioritize property-specific development initiatives.
Collaborate with Operations on all service training programs
Ensure training supports both operational execution and guest experience excellence.
Early Talent & College Recruiting
Lead enterprise college recruiting strategy and strengthen partnerships with key universities and hospitality programs.
Develop and implement a best-in-class internship program.
Oversee all post-hire college recruiting engagement and development initiatives.
Create seasonal hiring pipelines through strategic academic partnerships.
Analytics & Program Effectiveness
Establish and monitor key talent and development metrics including:
program effectiveness
promotion rates
bench strength
internal mobility
retention of high-potential talent
associate engagement
Use data-driven insights to continuously improve programs and organizational outcomes.
Culture & Omni Success Drivers
Model and champion Omni Success Drivers through leadership behaviors, accountability, and decision-making.
Reinforce a culture of inclusion, collaboration, innovation, accountability, and service excellence.
Serve as a visible culture leader and advocate for associate growth and engagement.
Qualifications
Required Experience
Minimum 7+ years leading Talent Development, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or Learning functions; hospitality operations experience strongly preferred.
Prior experience designing and leading enterprise-wide leadership development strategies.
Demonstrated success in succession planning, talent review, and leadership pipeline development.
Experience building and scaling mentorship and career development programs.
Preferred Experience
Previous graduate of a recognized hospitality leadership development program strongly preferred.
Luxury hospitality or multi-property leadership experience preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Behavior, Hospitality, or related field required.
Master’s degree preferred.
