About This Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Office of the DVC (Academic) for a Senior Administration Officer, following the career progression of a valued team member. Join a high-performing team where your work will directly support impactful, university-wide initiatives.
In this varied and fast-paced role, you’ll provide project support and operational coordination across a diverse portfolio of strategic and operational activities. You’ll play a key role in keeping projects and priorities on track supporting planning, delivery, monitoring, and reporting while ensuring alignment with university priorities and governance frameworks.
Key responsibilities will include:
Supporting the delivery and administration of projects, ensuring activities, timelines, and documentation are well managed
Supporting the day-to-day operations of the Office of the DVC (Academic), including financial processes, record keeping, and asset registers
Preparing and maintaining project documentation such as plans, reports, briefings, and governance materials
Providing executive assistant support to the DVC (Academic) during peak periods and times of staff leave
Supporting the identification and management of risks, including workplace health and safety considerations across the portfolio
Building strong relationships with stakeholders and coordinating meetings, events, and committee support activities
About You
Demonstrated experience in project support or administration, with strong organisational and time management skills
Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience in identifying, assessing, and managing risks, including workplace health and safety considerations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex information and provide clear, informed recommendations
A relevant qualification and/or equivalent combination of experience and education
A proactive, adaptable approach with the ability to work independently and exercise sound judgement
