We’re looking for an Inventory Clerk to help keep our materials organized, accurate, and flowing to the production floor when they’re needed. This role is a key part of our operation. You’ll be responsible for tracking materials, preparing kits for production, and making sure our system reflects what’s actually happening on the floor. You’ll work closely with production, purchasing, and quality to keep things aligned and solve problems as they come up.
- Maintain accurate inventory records for purchased and manufactured materials
- Pick and prepare kits based on production schedules
- Process returned materials and update counts in the system
- Receive and verify incoming materials, including customer-supplied inventory
- Monitor inventory levels and flag shortages or concerns early
- Track purchase orders and follow up on issues or delays
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies with internal teams
- Perform cycle counts and daily inventory checks
- Compare physical inventory to system data and correct variances
- Support continuous improvement in how materials are managed and tracked
- High school diploma or equivalent, or relevant hands-on experience
- Comfort working in an ERP system and using computers daily
- Strong attention to detail, you catch things others miss
- Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks
- Solid communication skills and willingness to work with different teams
- Basic math skills for counting, tracking, and reconciling inventory
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with inventory control or warehouse processes
- Experience with systems like IFS or similar ERP platforms
- Forklift experience or certification
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout a manufacturing facility for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 25–50 pounds, with or without assistance
- Frequent handling of small components and materials requiring fine motor skills
- Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, equipment, and varying temperatures
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
