The Temporary Talent Acquisition Specialist will provide full life-cycle recruiting and sourcing support for a variety of disciplines.
Principal Responsibilities:
True Full-Cycle Recruiting: Accountable for all aspects surrounding talent delivery from requisition to hire. It’s important to understand that this requires significant stakeholder engagement in a highly contextual and fluid environment.
Partner with Hiring Managers to understand their needs and execute strategies to fill vacancies, such as job advertisement development, candidate screening, sourcing, evaluation and selection.
Nurture relationships with Hiring Managers to ensure process expectations are clear, and promote effective communication to resolve challenges
Engage Sourcing networks, including individuals, agencies, online partners, education institutions, and professional networking organizations
Effectively draw upon elements of Branding, apply relevant Attraction techniques, and promote company Reputation.
Ownership of interview & selection processes, including candidate coordination, timely collection of interview notes, records keeping, and communication of results to stakeholders
Own post-offer processes, including pre-employment drug screening, background check, and reference checks.
Collaborate within HR and with the Business to facilitate an engaging candidate experience that seamlessly continues through offer and onboarding
Ensure a superior candidate experience throughout the hiring process, leveraging the latest recruitment methodology as well as traditional sourcing and communication techniques
Maintain/develop personal and functional recruitment metrics, providing data analysis and interpretation for stakeholders
Competencies:
Sourcing/Search: Basic searches on databases. Elementary pro-active posture
Interview: Develops uncomplex interview questions with supervision. Partners with business to select appropriate assessment
Job Intake: Asks probing questions, uncovering details necessary to prevent future issues. Details expectations and resources to ensure hiring success. Relies on process for progress.
Delivery Success Plan: Complexity of role requires some creative thinking. Creates new plan for each hire, relying on supervision and established methods and tools
Legal & Regulatory: Acts with supervision or within controlled processes. Knows what is allowed/not allowed, but cannot detail reasons why.
Recruiting Role Complexity: More complex positions, incl. professional individual contributor roles. Some learning required to understand position.
Offer Negotiation & Administration: Offers within salary or wage ranges
External Interfaces: school administration; local gov't agencies; pre-negotiated agency reps
Technical Competence: understanding ATS, excel and rudimentary data analysis (pivot tables), LinkedIn Recruiter
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field.
3+ years of experience in full-cycle recruitment.
Experience in the manufacturing/electronics sector preferred
Proficiency with MS Office suite, including Excel
Prior experience with an Applicant Tracking System
High attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple project at the same time
Strong written and verbal communication skills
