Job Description
Job Objective Management of the plant quality organization, control and implementation of methods and processes for ensuring quality as well as intervention and solution finding in comprehensive quality procedures with the affected internal and external positions as well as with quality management. Cooperation in quality-relevant incidents, including suspension of delivery due to defective parts. Ensuring and complying with the legally mandated COP (conformity of production) requirements in inspections during series production of the products to be manufactured in the plant for the license holder and the obligation to immediately inform both the managing director and the license holder of any deviations from the legally mandated values. Set-up, updating and following up the plan for the Continual Improvement Process (budgeting, quality targets) Duties and Responsibilities A Quality management system Leading Quality organization to achieve business objectives following efficiency standards using development of competences, sustaining creativity and flexibility, keeping quality employees motivated. Implementation of the HELLA Quality Management System according to the requirements of the relevant QM norms. Fulfillment of customer-specific requirements based on the Hella Quality Management System to preserve long-term competitiveness nationally and internationally. Train the employees to ensure qualifications. B Quality improvement plan Responsible to develop, maintain and pursuit continues improvement plans (e.g. budget, quality targets) C Audits Plan and supervise internal and external systems, process and product audits according to HELLA Quality Management standards and manage deviations by taking corrective actions. D Product quality Monitoring of the production quality, identify the Quality and Service problems. Elaborate corrective action plans according to “Zero Defects” requirement. Optimize the Customer Complaints level, leading Customer communication according with Corporate Quality Management, to achieve the best Customer Satisfaction. Responsible to decide actions to stop production and delivery for customer in case of defect products are identified E Quality in the Time-to-Market process Intervention and/or reporting in the event of quality problems in production to product/process development and influencing the implementation of corrective actions in new developments, to ensure an error-free start of production through stable and capable processes and methods F Quality reporting Communication and reporting on regular basis about relevant quality topics, quality KPI’s (metrics) and trend of Quality costs G Compliance with obligatory standards Recognize, understand and comply with the requirements and objectives of those official bodies who have legal rights over the operation of our company in order to create a positive cooperation towards the operation of our business H Compliance with internal standards Recognize, understand and comply with the requirements and objectives of Hella internal standards as defined in the Business Process Management I Leadership Deploying employees corresponding to their qualifications within the relevant structure. Instructing and supporting employees in a target-oriented and motivating manner to fulfill the tasks. Guiding, instructing and supporting employees in function-related tasks. Participating in hiring process and responsible to sustain the team performance and evaluation as well as qualification demands.
