Role Overview:
We are looking for Senior Software Engineer II who are passionate about their craft, who thrive on challenge and who believe in success through collaboration – people who would complement our existing developers! You will be part of our Marketplace, Genius VIP team in Shanghai.
Key Job
and Duties:
We believe the right mindset and a passion for learning are more important than a specific list of technical skills
We're looking for someone who:
Has 8-12 years of professional software development experience.
Has experience in one of Java, Go or Python.
Possesses a strong foundation in software engineering principles, including writing high-quality code, the importance of testing, and system design.
Is an excellent communicator who enjoys working collaboratively to solve complex problems and share knowledge with peers.
Is pragmatic and product-focused, with an ability to translate ambiguous ideas into concrete technical solutions.
Experience of working on products that impact a large customer base is an advantage
Fluent oral and written English and Chinese
This role may be required to work on an on-call rotation
