Job Description:

Considers safety, effectiveness, cost, and impact on practice when delivering nursing services. Remains calm and focused during stressful or emotionally charged situations to provide effective care. Maintains a clean and uncluttered environment for safety and assists with patient care as needed. Demonstrates commitment to professional and personal growth by completing mandatory educational requirements and attending required meetings. Cooperates and collaborates with team members, patients, and families to ensure effective communication and care delivery. Other duties as assigned. Demonstrates caring and patient-first behaviors while interacting with patients in a non-judgmental and respectful manner. Properly uses stretchers, wheelchairs, and beds during patient transport to maintain safety and comfort. Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing, and documents information accurately. Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality at all times, adhering to universal precautions and isolation requirements.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Must have the ability to follow written and verbal instructions effectively. [Required]

Education:
• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]


Work Experience:
• 1+ or more years in a clinical/hospital setting. [Preferred]
• 1+ or more, experience as a patient sitter or psychiatric tech [Preferred]


Licenses and Certifications:
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

Pay Range:

$15.15 - $22.73
