Job Description
Role’s overview:
The Compliance Lead is a hybrid role that combines practical, hands‑on product testing with regulatory communication and compliance responsibilities.
This person understands the product deeply, thanks to working directly with it, and the technical insight becomes the foundation for representing the product effectively to external agencies. Your work will directly contribute to the reliability of mission-critical systems that protect lives.
Key responsibilities:
Operate, manipulate and test the product in real and simulated scenarios.
Identify anomalies, risks and failure modes through hands on experimentation.
Design and execute complex manual tests that require deep product knowledge.
Document findings clearly for internal teams and for regulatory purposes.
Work closely with engineering, to reproduce issues and explain them from a user centric perspective.
Prepare the product for inspections, demonstrations or evaluations by regulatory agencies.
Serve as the primary point of contact with regulatory agencies.
Present technical results, test evidence and compliance documentation.
Negotiate requirements, clarify technical points and defend the company’s position.
Ensure that testing and documentation meet regulatory standards.
Key requirements:
University degree in Electronic/Telecoms or similar.
Min. 3 years of working experience in a similar role (pre-compliance, field applications, technical support, etc.) in technical portfolio; Fire security / security experience will be a strong advantage.
Strong practical understanding of product’s functionality and behavior.
Familiarity with relevant technical standards, protocols or regulatory requirements.
Fluent English, both spoken and written; Spanish is not required, however will be seen as an advantage.
Has a technical, curious, investigative mindset. Enjoys working directly with the product, not just writing test cases.
Great communication skills, ability to effectively communicate on various organizational levels, equally to external bodies; can translate hands-on experience into credible, structured communication for agencies.
Strong negotiation and diplomacy abilities, ability to manage high‑pressure regulatory interactions.
Comfortable being both a product expert and a regulatory representative.
Willingness to travel, when required (approximately 30% of the time).
