Introduction –

This is an exciting opportunity to drive digital transformation within Oxford University Press’s Education business. As a Manager, Digital Acquisition, you will play a key role in expanding the adoption of digital learning solutions across schools and institutions.

This role offers a strong career progression path for professionals looking to move into high-impact, future-focused sales roles within the EdTech ecosystem. The role is particularly engaging due to its focus on digital product promotion, consultative selling, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will work closely with sales, marketing, product, and excellence teams, while engaging directly with school leaders and decision-makers, making it both strategic and customer-facing.

 

Opportunity –

In this role, you will:

  • Drive digital sales budgets for the assigned territory through structured planning and aggressive promotion of digital products
  • Train and enable the core sales team on digital offerings to help them achieve digital sales targets
  • Conduct product demonstrations, seminars, and promotional workshops for qualified leads
  • Work closely with the core sales team to build and manage a strong sales funnel for digital products
  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, including proposal submission, negotiations, follow-ups, and securing confirmation from schools
  • Ensure timely conversion of orders into billing, followed by onboarding, deployment, and enablement of digital products in adopting schools
  • Build medium- to long-term partnerships with existing and new school customers through integrated service offerings
  • Track new institutions, courses, and emerging opportunities within the assigned territory
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across sales, operations, excellence, marketing, and product teams to ensure seamless execution

 

Impact:
Your role will directly influence the growth of OUP’s digital business by increasing product adoption, strengthening customer relationships, and driving revenue. You will also contribute to advancing digital learning solutions in the K–12 education space, supporting the organisation’s long-term strategic goals.

 

About You

 

Essential Criteria

  • Graduate or postgraduate degree in any discipline with strong communication skills
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience
  • Strong consultative sales skills with a customer-centric approach
  • Good understanding of the K–12 education market, including print and digital/online segments
  • Tech-savvy with knowledge of the EdTech domain
  • Ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced work environment
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Strong knowledge of the assigned territory/market

 

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience in driving digital transformation initiatives within education or related sectors
  • Ability to build long-term customer partnerships and deliver integrated solutions
