Duties:
- Prepare, organize, and stock merchandise on the sales floor in accordance with store guidelines.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers, answering phone calls, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Uphold merchandising standards by ensuring fixtures are fully stocked, organized, and well-presented.
- Inventory control.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store appearance. May include: dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, cleaning mirrors, etc.
- Assist with other miscellaneous tasks/projects as needed. May include: stockroom upkeep, inventory management, and other special projects.
- Cash handling.
Requirements:
- Ability to work independently and efficiently while handling tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Punctuality and strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Detail orientated and organized.
- Ability to do work that requires frequent bending, lifting, pushing, walking, and climbing ladders.
- Phone etiquette.
- Customer service experience preferred, but not required.
- Must be able to work a minimum of 10 hours per week, be available for opening/closing shifts during the week and work some weekends.
- AVAILABILITY REQUIRED: Must be available to work rest of Spring Quarter, Summer Sessions A and C, and FINALS WEEK of each quarter/session.
