Chargeman B0, Routine Maintenance (Kuala Kangsar, Perak)

Responsibilities

• Serve as the registered Competent Person (Chargeman BO) with Suruhanjaya Tenaga and ensure all electrical installations comply with statutory and safety requirements.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for highway electrical systems including street lighting, feeder pillars, switchboards, generators, traffic systems, and related electrical assets.

• Monitor daily operation of highway electrical facilities and attend to breakdowns, faults, and emergency maintenance to ensure smooth operations and road user safety.

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance works carried out by technicians, contractors, and vendors in accordance with maintenance schedules and SOP requirements.

• Conduct routine inspections, troubleshooting, and technical reporting for electrical systems and maintenance activities.

• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, permit-to-work requirements, and company operational standards during all maintenance activities.

Requirements

• Possess a valid Chargeman BO Certificate registered with Suruhanjaya Tenaga.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in highway, infrastructure, facilities, or industrial environments.

• Good technical knowledge in LV electrical systems, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and safety compliance.
