About the Role:

 

The Financial Systems team in the FinTech business unit provides technical expertise to the finance department and is responsible for supporting and innovating SAP ERP/S4HANA, SAP BI, Native HANA solutions, and many other connected external systems like Ivalua, Conga, or Blackline

We want to change the way people work with enterprise systems, by building an application platform that supports simplification of business processes and empowers the finance community with better integrations and financial insights. 

 

We are seeking FI/MM SAP Functional with SAP RISE experience to join the team permanently

The first assignment will be implementation of SAP Rise (private cloud) for Source to Pay

S2P product team within Financial Systems is responsible for Sourcing, Procurement, Invoicing and Payouts of Overhead Suppliers invoices globally

We are also supporting Travel & Expense integration between Concur and SAP. 

 

The role requires strong domain understanding of financial processes such as invoicing, payments, and procurement-to-pay (P2P)

You are familiar with integrations of SAP with other platforms (such as Ivalua or Concur) The ideal candidate would have past experience in transformation projects, moving solutions and processes from on-premise based ERP into the cloud based SAP (RISE).

 

You will work on Design, Build, Testing, Hypercare in this new (greenfield) implementation and later in the product team on other initiatives within S2P

We are currently completing the project team which will consist of Ivalua Specialists, developer, VIM Specialist, and Functional Lead to deliver all necessary Configurations in SAP FI, MM, Payments, VIM, Ivalua and interfaces in cooperation with the System Integrator.

 

Due to the rapid and continuous growth of the organization, the tasks and duties of this role may evolve over time

as they occur.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Full ownership of projects and quality of changes, from planning, communication, coordination, compliance aspects, customization, documentation and go-live hypercare;

  • Exceptional analytical with thorough attention to detail

  • Providing scalable and innovative solutions;

  • Ability to take fast decisions in a very dynamic environment, with some level of uncertainty

  • Contribute to the identification of opportunities (processes, people) to improve project delivery and/or development methodologies.

  • Ability to provide cross functional take on each solution and able to connect the dots and identify risks and challenges

  • Facilitate training and knowledge transfer sessions to end users and AMS

  • Day to day support and incident resolution

  • Continuously up to date with latest developments by SAP/OpenText/Concur in the area of P2P and T&E



Requirements:

  • 5-7 years SAP FI/MM hands-on experience with excellent experience in handling topics typical to Source-to-Pay process

  • Experience in SAP Rise (ERP on private cloud) rollout

  • Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA, particularly Finance (FI/AP) modules related to invoicing and payments.

  • Certified Functional SAP Specialist

  • Experience integrating SAP with Source-to-Pay (S2P) platforms such as Ivalua, preferably using Mulesoft as a middleware

  • Understanding of invoice processing flows, including invoice validation, matching (2-way / 3-way), posting, and payment execution.

  • Familiarity with SAP integration patterns

  • Knowledge of best practice invoice processing, including tax code determination

  • Knowledge of payment lifecycle data, including payment runs, payment program configuration, statuses, and reconciliation between SAP and external systems.

  • Experience supporting financial reconciliation and auditability across invoicing and payment integrations.

  • Ability to have a good grasp of the details and manage multiple priorities in a quick turnaround environment.

  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

  • Organized, flexible, proactive, and result-oriented.

  • Experience with OpenText VIM or knowledge of Concur integration - is preferred

  • ABAP debugging - is preferred
