Barista | Velvet Joes

  Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Barista | Part Time  for the beautiful new Barton Creek Resort & Spa!    Responsibilities: Serving guests in Velvet Joe's coffee shop. Answering guest questions about menu items. Brewing gourmet coffee and other specialty beverages. Up-selling and suggestive selling of items. Accurately processing transactions and maintaining a balanced bank. Assist in presentation of gift shop Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items Qualifications: Minimum age requirement of 18 years Previous barista experience preferred. Must have cash handling experience. Must have a flexible availability, including weekends and holidays. Must be able to bend, push, pull and stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift at least 30lbs. Must have active TABC license and Food Handler Certificate at time of hire.
