We are seeking a highly motivated Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) with at least 3 years of experience in Aerospace or Space programs to join our engineering team.

The successful candidate will contribute to the development of advanced Model-Based Systems Engineering solutions supporting aerospace safety and security activities. The role involves the creation of MBSE models, methodologies, customizations, and software plugins that enable the reuse of system engineering artifacts for safety and security analyses.

This position requires a strong combination of systems engineering expertise, modeling skills, and software development capabilities, with a focus on transforming conceptual approaches into operational prototypes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain system models using SysML and MBSE methodologies.
• Identify, analyze, and address current and emerging challenges in aerospace safety and security engineering.
• Support the integration of Model-Based Systems Analysis (MBSA) techniques within MBSE environments.
• Design and implement customizations, extensions, and plugins for MBSE toolchains.
• Develop reusable frameworks enabling the automated generation and reuse of safety and security analysis artifacts from system models.
• Create working prototypes based on customer and project requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, including system, software, safety, security, and verification engineers.
• Contribute to the definition and improvement of MBSE processes, methodologies, and best practices.
• Support model validation, consistency checking, and traceability activities.
• Produce technical documentation, reports, and engineering artifacts in accordance with aerospace standards and project requirements.

QUÉ ESPERAMOS DE TI

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Systems Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience using SysML in industrial projects.
• Proven experience working on Aerospace or Space programs.
• Experience developing or customizing MBSE environments, scripts, plugins, or automation solutions.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies.
• Proficiency with Magic Systems of Systems Architect / Magic Systems (Dassault Systèmes) 2024 and 2026.
• Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink 2024b.
• Proficiency with System Composer 2024b.
• Experience creating and maintaining SysML models throughout the system lifecycle.
• Understanding of systems architecture, requirements management, traceability, and verification activities.
• Familiarity with software development concepts and scripting for tool customization and plugin development.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Nice to Have

• Experience with SysML v2.
• Experience with Cameo Systems Modeler.
• Knowledge of Model-Based Safety Analysis (MBSA) and Model-Based Security Analysis approaches.
• Experience developing integrations between MBSE and safety/security engineering environments.
• Knowledge of aerospace and defense engineering standards, including: ARP4754B, ARP4761A, DO-326B, DO-356A, ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288, MIL-STD-882E, etc.
• Familiarity with safety assessment processes such as FHA, PSSA, SSA, FTA, and FMEA.
• Experience working within regulated Aerospace, Space, or Defense environments.
