Role Summary
As Senior Key Account Manager, you will manage our most strategic 3PL relationships, going beyond day-to-day tasks to act as a trusted advisor and performance driver. Sitting between the 3PL Manager and the broader Account Management team, this is a high-impact individual contributor role requiring ownership, foresight, and a strong commercial mindset. You will collaborate cross-functionally to deliver operational excellence, partner satisfaction, and long-term strategic alignment.
What’s On Your Plate?
Strategic Partner Management: Own and grow relationships with high-value 3PL partners. Act as the primary point of contact, driving alignment with talabat’s goals through structured performance management and proactive engagement.
Business Planning & Growth Enablement: Identify and execute on opportunities to scale partner capabilities, improve delivery metrics, and unlock mutual growth. Support 3PLs in meeting recruitment targets and navigating operational challenges.
Performance & Compliance Oversight: Analyze data to track 3PL performance across key KPIs. Escalate issues, identify trends, and implement corrective action plans in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Negotiation & Commercial Engagement: Participate in renewal discussions and fee reviews. Help align commercial terms with performance outcomes and market realities.
Cross-Functional Execution: Work closely with Operations, Finance, Legal, and Data teams to ensure smooth execution of initiatives and to resolve roadblocks efficiently.
Market & Partner Intelligence: Stay ahead of market dynamics affecting rider supply, regulatory shifts, and 3PL sentiment. Use insights to inform account strategies and leadership discussions.
Internal Advocacy: Represent 3PL partner needs within talabat, ensuring internal decisions reflect frontline realities while balancing compliance and efficiency goals.
What Did We Order?
Proven Experience: 4+ years in managing key business relationships. Experience managing B2B partnerships or gig economy platforms is a plus.
Relationship Builder: Demonstrated ability to manage complex external relationships and influence internal stakeholders.
Execution Excellence: Strong track record of driving measurable outcomes across operations, compliance, or partner performance.
Negotiation & Communication Skills: Confident communicator with experience in partner-facing commercial discussions.
Business Acumen: Ability to understand and communicate the commercial impact of operational decisions and align actions to broader business goals.
Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
Proactive & Strategic Thinker: Able to anticipate challenges, manage ambiguity, and connect the dots between tactical execution and long-term strategy
