Job Description
State Street Investment Management is the fourth largest asset management firm globally. Global Funds Management is responsible for all treasury, fund administration, and reporting for our registered and unregistered funds globally. This includes valuation, board liaison and reporting, financial and regulatory reporting, taxation, expense accruals, service provider oversight, and new product. We are seeking an AVP to join the Operational Due Diligence (Ops DD) team within Global Funds Management. The team is responsible for overseeing and conducting operational due diligence on third party investment managers and sub advisory relationships. The future candidate will be required to independently liaise with external partners, investment managers, sub advisors, and internal cross-functional teams. Successful candidates will demonstrate a continuous improvement and innovation mindset and be technologically savvy. What you will be responsible for:
Assist (Lead with experience) with initial and ongoing third party manager and sub advisor operational due diligence reviews, including performing document reviews, participating in Ops DD meetings, and producing reports as directed by Senior Ops DD team members.
Manage the media monitoring and background check processes for third party managers and sub advisors.
Plan and facilitate activities for third party managers and sub advisors as directed by Senior Ops DD team members.
Provide timely responses to inquiries and execute outreach to third party managers, sub-advisors, and internal cross functional teams.
Liaise with internal functional areas including Global Funds Management, Investment Research, Legal, Compliance and Product Management on various matters.
Review Due Diligence Questionnaire responses and escalate items of concern to the Senior Ops DD team members.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this role will thrive in a collaborative environment, possess strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, and have a passion for continuous development and improvement.
2-5 years of experience in third party manager operational due diligence.
Knowledge of investment vehicles, operations and controls.
Willingness to travel – approximately 15%
Professional advanced degree or professional qualification such as a CPA (preferred not required.)
Salary Range:
$75,000 - $123,750 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
