Job Description

The Balance Sheet Insight Center (BSIC) team within Global Treasury is responsible for reporting and analytics focused on business unit and client level profitability and deposit strategy. The team serves as a key point of coordination between Global Treasury, business leaders, and finance partners globally on matters related to FTP, Client Deposits, Balance Sheet Analytics including business NII reporting, forecast guidance, and methodology changes

Successful candidate will be self-motivated, results-oriented, and possess a strong understanding of a bank’s balance sheet, NII, and key financial performance drivers. This role requires a strong focus on Reporting Analytics, Stakeholder support, effective partnership across Business, Finance, and Treasury, and active involvement in BSIC production, transformation initiatives, and governance processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the preparation and delivery of daily, weekly, and monthly balance sheet and deposit reporting analytics, including day-over-day analysis based on key performance metrics.
• Provide timely and effective support for ad hoc requests from business stakeholders related to balances, Net Interest Income (NII), rates, and other critical financial metrics.
• Investigate data issues, drive resolutions, and ensure reporting accuracy.
• Support FTP production and reporting processes with timely and accurate delivery.
• Prepare NII reports, including variance analysis across business units, products, and periods.
• Perform quality checks on monthly actuals and reporting data.
• Monitor data quality, maintain documentation, and improve reporting processes and controls.
• Respond to ad hoc analysis requests and support projects for Finance, Treasury, and Business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze results, resolve issues, and support business decision-making.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree (MBA / CA / CFA) preferred
• 4-6 years of experience in financial services / Banking / Treasury / FP&A.
• Good understanding of financial statements, balance sheet concepts, NII, and profitability drivers.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention details and proficiency in Excel and dashboards; familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, or QRM is an advantage
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work accurately, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to manage data quality end-to-end and navigate complex, cross-functional processes across systems and data providers.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex business challenges and resolve data issues, breaks, and reporting inconsistencies
