As a Construction Administrator with a background or strong interest in mechanical or electrical building systems, you will support the monitoring of construction activities, work closely with engineers, contractors, and trades, and help ensure that work is completed accurately and in accordance with drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.

Your daily impact
Support the coordination and monitoring of medium- to large-scale construction work related to mechanical and/or electrical systems.
Help verify that work is progressing in accordance with drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
Conducting internal coordination and assisting the construction team by managing and tracking the submittals submitted by the contractors.
Conduct site visits, document observations, and prepare site notes and follow-up items for contractors.
Assist with tracking schedules and participate in site meetings.
Follow up with contractors on drawing markups for the preparation of as-built drawings.
Support the review of work progress and help identify issues that may affect quality, scope, or schedule.
Assist in resolving technical issues and interpreting drawings and specifications, with support from senior team members.
Contribute to the review of change orders, pricing, and other site-related documentation.
Your profile
Completion of a diploma in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, building systems, or a related field.
1 - 2 years of relevant experience in construction, site monitoring, contract administration, construction coordinator, building systems, or a related role. Field or trade experience is considered an asset.
Knowledge of applicable Ontario codes and standards related to building mechanical and/or electrical systems, or a strong willingness to learn.
Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. French is an asset.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Strong organizational skills, versatility, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to prepare clear site notes, reports, and follow-up documentation.
Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
Experience with managing platform like Sharepoint, Autodesk, etc.is an asset.
