Company Introduction

As part of the global VEON Group, we are expanding into the digital financial services market to serve a broader customer base and strengthen our role in Bangladesh’s digital ecosystem. To advance this initiative, we are in the process of obtaining a Payment Service Provider (PSP) license via our newly established subsidiary called - NEO PSP Limited, a next-generation payment solutions company.

Job Description 

 

  • Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business goals, customer needs, market trends, and regulatory requirements.

  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation and business case development to launch, scale-up, and continuous optimization.

  • Lead product innovation and portfolio expansion using market research, customer insights, competitive benchmarking, and emerging DFS technologies.

  • Develop and execute Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies, ensuring seamless product launches across App, USSD, Agent, Merchant, Web, and API ecosystems.

  • Monitor and optimize product performance KPIs, profitability, pricing strategies, and customer engagement to drive revenue growth and retention.

  • Ensure full compliance with Bangladesh Bank regulations, MFS guidelines, AML/CFT requirements, and internal governance standards.

  • Collaborate closely with Technology, UI/UX, Risk, Operations, Finance, Commercial, and Distribution teams to ensure timely, high-quality product delivery.

  • Drive customer experience excellence, reduce friction, and enhance adoption through data-driven insights and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Build and manage strong ecosystem partnerships with fintechs, aggregators, API partners, and strategic vendors to expand digital capabilities.

  • Foster a high-performing, innovative Product team culture, ensuring strong stakeholder alignment, governance, and cross-functional collaboration.

Academic Qualification

  • Bachelor’s in Business/Finance from a reputed university

Job Experience Required

  • 8-10 years of progressive experience in Product strategy, product planning, and analytics across fintech and telecom.

Required Capabilities

  • Strong background in commercial or business development with proven expertise in performance analysis and problem-solving support.

  • Experience in telecom/Financial sector finance and fintech, enabling deep understanding of large-scale digital and financial product design and development.

  • Demonstrated success in breaking market monopolies and delivering outsized market-share growth with fintech innovation.

  • Deep expertise in digital wallet strategy, financial inclusion models, pricing/commercial architecture, and scalable operating models.

  • Hands-on leadership of product management & revenue forecasting.

  • Strong track record working directly with Divisional Head to set and execute product strategy.

  • Strong capability to work with cross-function teams and lead by example
