Job Summary
Avelabs (an Arrow Company), a leading automotive software engineering services provider, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Hardware Electronics Lab Technician to support prototyping, testing, and validation activities. The ideal candidate will assist engineers in assembling and troubleshooting electronic circuits and systems in a laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the assembly, testing, and debugging of electronic circuits and hardware prototypes.
Perform soldering (SMT and through-hole) and rework on PCBs.
Set up and operate laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and signal generators.
Support board bring-up, validation, and troubleshooting activities.
Maintain and organize laboratory equipment, tools, and inventory.
Document test results, procedures, and observations clearly.
Assist in preparing hardware setups for validation, certification, and demos.
Support failure analysis and root cause investigation of hardware issues.
Ensure compliance with safety and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) standards.
Required Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in an electronics lab environment (preferred).
Hands-on experience with PCB assembly, soldering, and rework.
Familiarity with electronic components, schematics, and datasheets.
Experience using lab instruments (oscilloscope, DMM, power supply, etc.).
Basic understanding of digital and analog circuits.
Preferred Skills
Experience with embedded systems hardware (e.g., microcontrollers, SoCs like NXP, etc.).
Familiarity with PCB design tools (Altium, OrCAD, or similar) is a plus.
Ability to troubleshoot hardware failures systematically.
Good documentation and reporting skills.

Work Environment
