Description of the role and purpose of the job: The Accounting Advisory Services team provides high-quality outsource accounting services to a wide range of local and international clients. Our services include bookkeeping, monthly reporting, financial statement compilation, XBRL tagging, payroll and secretarial services. The Accounting support Services team will provide you with an opportunity to build a dynamic career across diverse services that are offered to clients. The areas that we will require your expertise in are: · Providing accounting and payroll services to a wide range of clients · Compilation of financial statements in terms of IFRS/ IFRS for SME’s/GRAP

Key responsibilities: To produce high quality work with attention to detail. Accounting and payroll · Process cash book, journals and general ledger transactions · Maintenance/reconciliation of accounts · Preparation of management accounts · Prepare manual PAYE calculations as well as payroll reconciliations for auditors · Provide the full payroll function for small to large entities and executive payrolls · Complete EMP 201, EMP 501 and COIDA returns Compilation of financial statements · Compilation of financial statements using CaseWare or Draftworx · Apply detailed knowledge of IFRS and IFRS for SME’s to ensure disclosure requirements are met in financial statements · Apply logical thinking and analytical ability to information provided by clients |

Good communication skills and being able to deal with colleagues and clients at different levels is required. Minimum requirements to apply for the role (including qualifications and experience): • BComm Degree with 1- 3 years relevant experience. • Must be proficient in Caseware, Draftworx and Xero • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word • Knowledge of IFRS and IFRS for SME’s
