The Granite YMCA Workforce Development Apprenticeship Program is dedicated to tackling New Hampshire’s childcare shortage and building a stronger community by developing the next generation of early childhood education and youth development professionals.   This brand new and highly immersive 12-week program offers hands-on learning opportunities across various summer camp and school-age childcare settings, providing you with intentional training, peer discussions, and real-world application. Inquire today and become part of something bigger!   Qualifications and Experience: GED or High School Diploma Minimum age of 18 No resume required Work Hours/Pay Range: Schedule may vary based on participant and program needs but will be a minimum of 32 hours per week and operate primarily Monday through Friday between the hours 7a-6p Trainings will include in-person and virtual settings Required classroom/program placements are on-site Now Enrolling for Summer 2026 This is a temporary, hourly position with an additional benefit package that includes: Childcare assistance available 6-Month Family Membership to The Granite YMCA CPR and First-Aid Certification ACA Day Camp Director Certificate Out-of-School Time Credential support Career advancement including resume development, interview preparation, mentor support, and networking opportunities Required technology provided upon request Transportation reimbursement available
