Forklift Operator

Cedar’s Foods is looking for reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operators to join our growing team on second and third shifts. In this role, you will safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other powered equipment to move, load, unload, stage, and organize materials throughout the facility in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This position plays an important role in supporting production, inventory accuracy, and on-time shipments while maintaining a strong focus on safety and teamwork.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other powered equipment
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials
• Pull and prepare products accurately for shipment
• Maintain product quality and prevent damage during handling
• Support inventory accuracy by verifying materials, records, and product counts
• Follow all company safety procedures, GMPs, and OSHA guidelines
• Assist with general warehouse and material handling tasks as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Work collaboratively with production, warehouse, and shipping teams

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous forklift experience preferred
• Experience working in manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environments
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Reliable attendance and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with RF scanners or material handling equipment is a plus
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, crouching, and kneeling throughout shift
• Comfortable working in refrigerated and variable temperature environments
• Ability to work around moving machinery, warehouse traffic, and loud environments requiring hearing protection
• Ability to safely work at ground level and elevated heights when needed
