Seasonal Shrimp Briner
Department: Newport Production
Employment Type: Seasonal - Full Time

Reporting To: Miguel Calleja Marin
Compensation: $17.63 / hour

Summary:
Maintain proper operating practices, and accurate solution levels to process shrimp in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
- Proper methods in all production areas
- Proper use of production equipment to position shrimp under brine solution machine.
- Maintain proper solution levels in mixer tank
- Communicate supply material levels
- Maintain plant safety
- Keep work area clean at all times
- Be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
What you bring to Pacific Seafood
Required:
- No previous experience required
Preferred
- Previous production floor experience
- Experience working with production related equipment
Physical Requirements:

- Close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
- Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

- Utilizes PC and other standard office equipment.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
- If lengthy time working in the server room is required, personnel will be provided with noise cancelling headphones
