About Kilnbridge

Kilnbridge is the UK’s leading structures specialist, delivering some of the country’s most complex and iconic engineering, construction and infrastructure projects. Our expertise spans the full lifecycle of a structure - design, build, adapt, repair and protect - delivered by four specialist operational businesses that combine seamlessly as One Kilnbridge to meet any project’s needs.

We are purpose led, focused on building a sustainable and resilient future for the UK, with a reputation for technical excellence, safety and quality built over 35 years. As an employee-owned business, our people are at the heart of everything we do - empowered to contribute, innovate and help shape our continued success.

If you want to develop your expertise, contribute to technically challenging projects and be part of a collaborative team, we’d love to hear from you.

The Role

We’re looking for two highly organised and driven Bid Coordinators to join our growing Preconstruction teams and play a key role in securing future work across some of the UK’s most exciting and complex construction projects.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be at the heart of our bid activity, working closely with senior stakeholders and technical experts to produce winning submissions. You’ll take ownership of coordinating tenders from initial enquiry through to submission and handover, ensuring everything we produce is accurate, compelling and aligned to client requirements.

You’ll be part of a collaborative and high-performing team where your contributions will directly influence project success and business growth.

What you’ll do

  • Take ownership of coordinating the full tender lifecycle, from ITT receipt through to submission, feedback and handover

  • Manage and maintain structured tender documentation, registers and filing systems to ensure full compliance and traceability

  • Review tender documentation, identifying key requirements, risks and actions to drive a successful submission

  • Work closely with internal teams to gather, track and manage inputs, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality

  • Produce, format and submit high-quality, client-ready tender documents with exceptional attention to detail

  • Support the development of compelling PQQ and tender responses

  • Coordinate NDAs, client communications and feedback tracking

  • Organise and facilitate meetings, capturing actions and driving progress across the bid team

  • Track deliverables and provide clear updates on tender progress

  • Use client portals and EDMS systems confidently for submission and document control

  • Support the creation of presentations, CVs, and capability materials that showcase Kilnbridge’s expertise

  • Maintain key systems including CRM databases and internal content libraries

  • Provide proactive administrative and coordination support to the Preconstruction team and leadership

What you’ll need

  • Experience in a Bid Coordinator or similar role, ideally within construction, engineering or a bid-led environment

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with the ability to produce high-quality documents

  • Experience working with EDMS systems or client tender portals

  • Excellent written communication skills with a sharp eye for detail, accuracy, and presentation

  • Good understanding of the preconstruction and tendering process

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously

  • Confident communicator, able to build strong working relationships across teams and with stakeholders

  • Proactive, self-motivated and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Calm under pressure with a solutions-focused mindset

  • A collaborative team player who takes pride in delivering high-quality work

  • Alignment with Kilnbridge values: Responsibility, Integrity, Teamwork and Excellence
