UTILITIES DIVISION - SYSTEMS RELIABILITY OPERATOR I, II, III, IV, V (MECHANICAL) - 1 POSITION AVAILABLE PG 14 - PG 22 NON EXEMPT $23.49HR - $43.40HR. MAJOR FUNCTION These positions perform highly skilled work in industrial maintenance, troubleshooting and repair work in water production facilities, wastewater facilities, and lift stations. Responsibilities include preventative and corrective maintenance, repair, diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical equipment. These positions most also have general theory and understanding of industrial instrumentation and electrical controls. The role also involves performing physical labor to support facility and system upkeep. Employees may be assigned to specific water or wastewater sites for extended periods to gain practical experience and knowledge toward meeting the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) certification or licensing requirements.
