Job Description
The Care Team is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our growing Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working with financial data, solving problems, and contributing to the overall financial health of a dynamic healthcare organization.
As a Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close activities, reconciling accounts, and assisting with financial reporting. You'll work closely with Accounting and Finance leadership to ensure the integrity of financial information while supporting strategic and operational initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly accruals to support accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Maintain the general ledger and assist with month-end close activities, ensuring financial records are complete and compliant with accounting standards.
• Reconcile bank accounts, cash accounts, and other balance sheet accounts while researching and resolving discrepancies.
• Support accounts payable, fixed asset tracking, budgeting, and financial analysis to ensure accurate financial operations and reporting.
• Assist with audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting by preparing workpapers, gathering supporting documentation, and maintaining financial records.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field required.
• 1 year of accounting preferred
• Knowledge of general accounting principles, financial reporting, and month-end close processes.
