Technical Lead, Microsoft Dynamics
Job Description
Technical Lead, Microsoft Dynamics
Location: Hybrid | Remote Options
About the Role
We're hiring a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Technical Lead who combines deep hands-on engineering expertise with the architectural instinct and delivery ownership to drive complex, enterprise-scale implementations. You won't just write code, you'll define how it's written, reviewed, and shipped across a team.
At TechnoMile, you'll lead a team of developers building and delivering enterprise SaaS solutions on Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform. Clean architecture, ALM discipline, and long-term maintainability aren't aspirations, they are expectations.
What You’ll Do
- Lead end-to-end technical design and delivery for complex D365 and Power Platform features.
- Define and enforce engineering standards: coding conventions, solution architecture patterns, ALM practices, and testing requirements.
- Guide the team in solutioning features for enterprise applications — breaking down requirements into well-scoped, technically sound designs.
- Serve as the technical escalation point for production issues and complex integration challenges.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor developers; drive quality and consistency across the codebase.
- Own the full Dynamics 365 deployment lifecycle — both manual and pipeline-based — across Dev, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
- Build and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines using Power Platform Build Tools.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, Product Managers, and Client Delivery teams to translate business requirements into implementable solutions.
- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and risk identification as the technical voice in Agile delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of hands-on software development experience, with at least 4–5 years focused on Dynamics 365 CE / Power Platform.
- Minimum 1 year in a formal Technical Lead role, with ownership over team delivery and architecture decisions.
- Microsoft certifications preferred: PL-400, PL-200, MB-210.
Must have skills:
- Programming
- C# / .NET, JavaScript / TypeScript, Angular.js, object-oriented design, solid principles, unit testing, Git branching workflows.
- Dynamics 365 & Power Platform
- D365 CE/CRM plugins, custom APIs, business process flows, security model, solution layering.
- Client-side scripting, Xrm client API, Power Automate cloud flows, Model-Driven App development.
- Solution ALM: managed/unmanaged layers, solution segmentation, connection references, environment variables.
- Dynamics 365 deployments — both manual (import/export, solution upgrade) and automated (Azure DevOps, Power Platform Build Tools)
- Integration & DevOps
- Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, REST/OData API integrations, OAuth 2.0 / app registration–based authentication.
Nice to have
- PCF (Power Apps Component Framework), Canvas App development.
- Azure services: Functions, Service Bus, Logic Apps.
- Microsoft Copilot Studio, KingswaySoft or ETL tooling for Dynamics.
- ISV / AppSource solution packaging experience.
- AI-assisted and agent-driven development experience using GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, or similar platforms.
- GovCon, federal contracting, or compliance-driven software delivery background.
