
International Operations Market Director - LATAM, Orangetheory
Job Description
As the International Operations Market Director/Latin America for Orangetheory Fitness, you will play a critical role in managing studio-level economics within the LATAM market. In this role, you will focus on managing and executing critical business initiatives designed to drive studio-level business outcomes across studios throughout LATAM. Responsibilities include assisting in the development and implementation of market specific studio performance strategies, Master performance & coaching, franchisee support, and partnering with the Development Team as needed. Success will be measured on Orangetheory Studio metrics, AUVs/SSS, and Master satisfaction. All efforts will contribute to the EBITDA margins of the markets, driven by your ability to coach, influence, and partner strategically with Master franchisees and sub-franchisees to execute business plans.
Purpose/Impact (Duties & Essential Functions)
In this role, you will have a measurable impact at a regional scale on the health of consumers and the success of entrepreneurial franchisees as part of the largest global studio fitness brand.
Expectations
Execute strategies to drive studio AUV within the LATAM market to achieve defined goals. Primary metrics include membership growth and studio EBITDA; secondary metrics include franchise sales and club openings.
Work closely with Master franchisees to develop and execute annual business plans that meet defined regional financial goals and drive profitability and sustainable growth while balancing all stakeholders’ interests.
Advise and influence Master franchisees on critical aspects of their business operations and support teams. Liaise with global brand operation teams when necessary to bring in subject matter experts on sales, fitness, technology, operations, marketing, and product.
Support the supervisor in planning and delivering regular monthly and quarterly business reviews with Masters and sub-franchisees within your region. Prepare all documentation in advance with the Master and Purpose Brands/OTF stakeholders to ensure alignment and preparedness.
Assist the Development Team in providing ongoing support and guidance to franchise partners throughout the development process, including site selection, construction, training, and launch.
Partner with Global OTF Brand team to scale global programs, best practices, and compliance to drive studio performance improvement projects within key regions. Provide regional feedback and insights to inform global best practices and improve brand product development.
Support efforts for mid- and long-term strategic planning, market research, competitor analysis, and feasibility studies to inform strategic decisions on adapting the franchise model within the region and enhance Purpose Brands growth and success.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of franchise locations, providing strategic guidance and support to optimize operational efficiency and profitability.
Collaborate with other Purpose Brands Brand and Product Teams to evaluate OTF product performance and recommend improvements to better meet franchisee needs.
Stay familiar with your market and continuously monitor trends, demographics, and cultural dynamics.
Work within the International Purpose Brands business units with business unit leaders, other Purpose Brands market directors, international development team, and marketing team to drive maximum growth and performance for Purpose Brands International.

Background
Requirements
Fluent in Spanish and English
Minimum of 3 years’ experience across all facets of operating an Orangetheory Fitness studio, including membership sales, operations, and coaching/fitness delivery
Strong knowledge of business practices, financials, and marketing fundamentals
Demonstrated ability to analyze business performance, identify strengths and weaknesses, and recommend improvement strategies
Experience using data and performance metrics to drive business and financial outcomes
Experience influencing stakeholders without direct authority, ideally in franchise, multi-unit, or distributed business environments
6 to 10 years’ experience managing large-scale service operations, especially multi-unit or unit-level management
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Experience working in cross-functional, matrixed organizations
Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced, performance-driven environments
Preferred Experience
Franchise industry experience, internationally centered
Experience helping shape strategic direction and execute growth plans in international markets
Experience working with diverse markets, cultures, and stakeholder groups
Studio or boutique fitness experience on an international scale
Strong cultural awareness and sensitivity
In-depth understanding of the health, wellness, and fitness industry and major stakeholders
Passion for the fitness and wellness industry
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, Economics, or a related field
Additional Details
This position requires a minimum of 6 to 8 weeks of international travel, including solo travel, in the calendar year to all existing and new development markets. Some travel may occur over weekends and/or U.S. holidays. The role may require work outside of normal business hours, including events and hosting clients during evenings.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid passport and obtain required visas for travel to existing and new markets.
