Level definition

• Provides administrative/office or technical support to a function or unit.
• Completes prescribed activities, perform standardized tasks and activities within clearly defined and established procedures.
• Works under regular, direct, or indirect supervision and guidance provided either by a team leader or by the system within which they operate.

Key responsibilities

• Supports analysis and evaluation of products/materials to check and ensure that quality and approved analysis standards are met. Works under close supervision.
• Conducts tests to analyse products and materials under close supervision.
• Supports interpretation of results of analyses and escalates non-conformance issues as required.
• Communicates and reports results to the relevant department.
• With support, ensures correct use of defined company standards and procedures.
• Ensures that instrumentation is functioning and that calibrated and verified methods are used.

Educational background

• Entry level for profiles with a vocational or technical education but with no or limited practical experience (0-2 years).
• Require technical experience to operate effectively.
