The scheduled maintenance services Regional Portfolio and Account Manager (RPM) is responsible for the promotion and sale of value-added scheduled maintenance services within the India and South Asia customer community. Based in Delhi, the RPM is part of a 17-member Scheduled Maintenance Services Team located in Bangalore (BLR), which focuses on service production and delivery.

The RPM's primary objectives are to expand the regional customer portfolio and enhance service value across India and South Asia by proposing new offers and product evolutions. Functionally, the manager connects with a global community of 37 RPMs to align and adapt sales strategies and priorities.

Operationally, the Regional Portfolio and Account Manager reports to the Head of Maintenance & Services India (IISBMM), with a functional reporting line to the SIMA2 Sales and Marketing team.

A - About Maintenance & Retrofit engineering

Maintenance & Retrofit Solutions Engineering is a department of ~800 people based in Bangalore/Delhi (India), Toulouse (France), Hamburg & Bremen (Germany), Getafe (Spain), Filton (UK), Mobile (US), Beijing (China), and Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia). Our main missions are:

  • Retrofit Solutions: Deliver and Support added value Retrofit solution packages to maintain continued aircraft airworthiness and improve Customers Operations & profitability

  • Maintenance Program Engineering: Deliver customer value through an array of services (from business development to the preparation of Planned Maintenance Service products, maintenance program optimization exercises and Parking & Storage) 

  • Scheduled Maintenance Services: Support the operation and maintenance of all Airbus aircraft and all customers worldwide, from development of initial requirements to deviation management and optimization of maintenance tasks.

  • Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Engineering: Engineering activities related to GSE & Tools (including Design, Services, Manufacturing Engineering & Front desk) for all Airbus aircraft and all customers worldwide

B - Your Responsibilities and Missions

  • Regional Focal Point: Act as the primary contact for scheduled maintenance engineering support and services for a defined portfolio of customers in South Asia, including Airlines, Corporate Jet customers, Lessors, and MROs.

  • Strategic Growth: Define and implement regional service strategies to meet specific order intake and revenue targets.

  • Sales & Campaign Management: Manage sales campaigns and promote services internally to customer support directors and sales teams, and externally to regional stakeholders.

  • Customer Success & Satisfaction: Manage a portfolio of customers to ensure the delivery of maintenance services on cost, on time, and at high quality.

  • Technical Support & Optimization: Proactively support customers on maintenance program planning and execution optimization, including providing guidelines on aircraft Parking & Storage solutions.

  • Market Intelligence: Perform market analyses and prospect identification while following regional market trends and political environments.

  • Contract Administration: Executed and supervised end-to-end contract administration for maintenance services.

  • Communication & Representation: Coordinate team contributions for customer events, Airbus forums, and aircraft sales campaigns under Global Account Management leadership.

C - Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: BE, BT or Master’s degree (5 years' degree level) in Engineering or a related discipline.

  • Professional Experience: Proven experience working within an Airline, MRO, or Lessor in the field of Maintenance and Engineering.

  • Regulatory & Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of EASA Part-M regulation and general technical knowledge of aircraft operations and maintenance.

  • Commercial Acumen: Experience in sales and marketing with a focus on deal profitability and service sales processes.

  • Soft Skills: Excellent negotiation, influencing, and persuasion skills with an assertive and communicative interpersonal style.

  • Language: Advanced level in English, proficiency in other languages is a plus.

  • Travel: Willingness to travel up to twice a month to customer locations within the South Asia region.
