About Salesforce
Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.
Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.
Overview of the Role
Come join Salesforce and a team at the heart of driving healthy and successful revenue growth! As a Senior Manager, Deal Desk, you will serve as a principal deal advisor and commercial strategist for our Japan, Korea, and Taiwan (JPKT) sales verticals. In this senior individual contributor role, you will move beyond transactional execution to act as an extension of organizational leadership. You will mitigate risks and uncover growth opportunities within highly complex, precedent-setting enterprise transactions and broader sales territories by leveraging data-driven insights. You are a culture carrier who will model innovative AI usage, mentor peer team members to scale regional capabilities, and proactively engage senior executive leadership to drive Salesforce’s strategic business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the primary strategic advisor to enterprise account teams, guiding them through the lifecycle of highly complex, multi-cloud, and bespoke enterprise deals.
* Partner with account teams to develop sophisticated concession strategies and creative structuring options that optimize revenue, maximize customer lifetime value, and protect corporate margins.
* Directly engage SVP+ leaders during critical deal cycles. Act with courage to make controversial recommendations in high-pressure situations, driving a path forward by providing thought leadership on precedent-setting deal structures and terms.
* Proactively partner with SVP+ leaders to drive long-term business objectives. Add unique value by "connecting the dots" across disparate enterprise deals, regional initiatives, and corporate stakeholders.
* Serve as a key driver in adopting and integrating AI-powered tools for deal analysis, pricing optimization, and workflows.
* Identify organizational and technical barriers to AI adoption within the Deal Desk and broader sales ecosystem. Propose and execute "Multiplier" solutions that scale efficiency and tackle revenue problems that were previously out of reach.
* Masterfully synthesize complex information and structural parameters into clear, concise summaries for executive leadership. Drive understanding, alignment, and swift buy-in on high-stakes escalations.
* Create a clear strategic vision for regional and global commercial initiatives, design execution roadmaps, and drive cross-functional accountability around deliverables.
Required Qualifications
* Experience: 10+ years of demonstrated ability in pricing strategy, sales financial analysis, commercial management, or relevant enterprise software/SaaS experience supporting complex enterprise deals.
* Education: Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role.
* Language Tech: Full professional proficiency (written and spoken) in Japanese and English is required.
* Executive Presence: Proven experience advising, influencing, and navigating conflict at the SVP+ level. Ability to maintain composure and drive productive outcomes in high-pressure, ambiguous environments.
* Communication: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to distill highly complex commercial, financial, and legal structures into concise, executive-ready summaries.
* Analytical Rigor: Superior analytical background with a proven track record of using data-driven dashboards (e.g., Tableau, CRM Analytics) to drive regional business decisions.
* AI Fluency: High proficiency in using AI-powered tools to support deal analysis, pricing optimization, and workflow automation. Ability to interpret and act on AI-generated insights to drive strategic deal recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in a dedicated commercial pricing, investment banking, or strategic finance function is a strong plus.
* Hands-on experience leveraging AI/ML tools (e.g., Salesforce Einstein, Agentforce, or similar) for sales analytics and revenue intelligence.
* Familiarity with prompt engineering or working with Large Language Models (LLMs) to automate and scale deal desk workflows.
* Fluency in Korean or Mandarin is highly desirable.
