Job Description
IT Manager
Responsible for leading the organization’s technological and digital strategy, focusing on optimizing operational processes, reducing costs, and improving efficiency through the integration of innovative technologies. This role is key to driving digital transformation within the plant and ensuring that the technological infrastructure supports the company’s strategic business objectives.
Position Objective
Enhance operational efficiency, boost productivity, and optimize manufacturing processes by developing and implementing information technology strategies that are guided by KGS DT global strategy. Ensure that local IT initiatives and solutions are aligned with global objectives and standards, leveraging advanced technologies to drive consistency and innovation across all operations. Define and support the plant’s hardware architecture, network, and voice/data communication devices in accordance with global guidelines, ensuring seamless integration and compatibility within the broader organizational framework.
Responsabilities
Define and implement the plant’s technology vision, aligned with organizational objectives.
Design strategic plans for the digitalization and automation of industrial processes.
Oversee IT infrastructure, including networks, ERP systems, and manufacturing platforms.
Lead technology integration projects to optimize real-time production monitoring.
Implement automation solutions to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Follow cybersecurity policies in accordance with Corporate Cyber guidance to safeguard critical systems and sensitive information.
Oversee a multidisciplinary team from managed services providers' to ensure effective collaboration and adherence to organizational standards.
Foster an environment of innovation and continuous improvement, motivating the team to adopt new technologies.
Coordinate with vendors, integrators, and other departments to ensure the successful implementation of technology projects.
Manage the IT and DT budget, optimizing resource allocation.
Ensure compliance with EH&S guidelines
Ensure the proper operation of the ERP system
Guide the plant in adopting technologies and tools to standardize systems with corporate standards.
Position Profile
Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred
Specialization: Bachelor’s degree or Engineering degree in Computer Systems, Information Technology, or a related field
Experience: Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Proven experience in Project management
Technical Skills
Experience with MES and ERP systems
Knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies
Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and Project management
Soft Skills
Effective leadership and ability to manage multidisciplinary teams
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Results-oriented with strong strategic thinking
Ability to manage change and promote innovation
Requirements
Preferred Certifications: Scrum Master, Product Owner, etc. Green Belt is a plus
English: Fluent
