About the role:

As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you are a strategic contributor to Pax8’s growth, capability, and culture. You operate at the intersection of business priorities, human judgement, and AI‑enabled recruiting, partnering with leaders to solve hiring problems—not just fill roles.

This role goes beyond requisition delivery. You are expected to shape hiring decisions, elevate Talent quality, and continuously improve how Pax8 attracts and selects talent in a rapidly scaling, AI‑powered environment.

Working arrangement At Pax8 APAC

We believe great work happens when people connect, collaborate, and grow together — so our teams are based in-office, with flexibility built in.

              · During your first 6 months, you'll be based in our Manila office to immerse yourself in the team, the culture, and your role.

              · After 6 months, you'll be eligible to request a hybrid arrangement of up to 2 days working from home each week, tailored to your role and team rhythm.

What you’ll do:

Strategic Talent Partnership

  • Partner closely with hiring leaders to translate business goals into clear hiring strategies, success profiles, and prioritised talent plans.

  • Act as a trusted advisor, challenging assumptions and guiding leaders towards evidence‑based, high‑quality hiring decisions.

  • Represent Talent Acquisition as a strategic business function, not a transactional service.

AI‑Powered Recruiting & Systems Thinking

  • Leverage AI, automation, and data insights to improving speed, signal quality, and candidate experience.

  • Apply systems thinking to identify root hiring challenges contributing to scalable, repeatable solutions rather than one‑off fixes.

  • Maintain strong human judgement, ethics, and accountability while adopting new technologies.

End‑to‑End Talent Delivery

  • Own the full recruitment lifecycle across multiple roles and stakeholders, ensuring a consistent, high‑bar candidate experience.

  • Source, assess, and close diverse, high‑quality talent using modern, inclusive, and data‑informed methods.

  • Balance delivery excellence with long‑term capability building.

Influence, Coaching & Continuous Improvement

  • Coach hiring managers on effective hiring practices, interview quality, and decision making.

  • Role‑model best‑in‑class recruiting behaviours and contribute to the continuous evolution of TA standards, tools, and processes.

  • Collaborate across TA, People Business Partnering Team, and the wider business to raise overall hiring maturity.

What you’ll bring:

Core experience

  • At least five (5) years of progressive recruiting experience (in‑house, agency, or RPO), ideally within a SaaS or high‑growth environment.

  • Strong understanding of end‑to‑end corporate recruiting processes.

  • Proficiency with modern ATS platforms (Workday preferred) and other recruiting technology ecosystems (Hiredscore, Rooster, Brighthire, Linkedin etc).

Business & strategic capability

  • Demonstrated business acumen with the ability to translate organisational priorities into recruiting strategies and outcomes.

  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity, adapting quickly as priorities, roles, and structures evolve.

  • Outcome‑focused mindset: measures success by impact, not just activity.

AI fluency & learning agility

  • Curious, technology‑adaptive recruiter who actively experiments with AI, automation, and data to improve hiring effectiveness.

  • Strong learning orientation, staying current with evolving recruiting practices, tools, and ethical considerations.

  • Able to distinguish signal from noise and apply judgement in complex decision environments.

Communication & influence

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a service‑oriented mindset, balancing challenge with partnership.

  • Ability to coach, guide, and align diverse stakeholders without formal authority.

  • Demonstrates ownership, accountability, and bias for action.

  • Thinks in systems, not silos.
