As an Expert Contract & Claim Management (m/f/d), you will play a key role in the successful delivery of a large-scale Data Centre EPC project. Acting as a trusted contractual advisor, you will ensure compliance with contractual obligations, proactively manage claims and notices, and support the project team in navigating complex contractual matters. This position offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of critical infrastructure projects within an international and dynamic environment.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
- Manage the full claims lifecycle for both client and subcontractor contracts, including identification, notification, documentation, evaluation, and resolution of claims
- Prepare and issue contractual notices within contractual deadlines and maintain comprehensive claims records and registers
- Build and maintain claim files, including entitlement analysis, factual records, correspondence, schedules, and supporting documentation
- Review and assess subcontractor claims, ensuring contractual compliance and supporting back-to-back claim strategies where applicable
- Maintain contractual logs, correspondence registers, obligation matrices, and audit trails
- Monitor contractual milestones, notice requirements, deadlines, and risk-related obligations
- Review Employer Instructions, Variation Orders, and change events to identify contractual implications and entitlement opportunities
- Support change management processes and ensure contractual compliance throughout project execution
- Advise project teams on contract interpretation, procedures, risks, and contractual obligations
- Support negotiations, dispute resolution activities, and contractual settlement discussions in collaboration with senior stakeholders
Show your expertise
- Master's degree in Law, ideally with a specialization in Construction Law, Contract Law, or International Business Law
- 3–6 years of experience in contract management, contract administration, or claims management within EPC, construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects
- Solid knowledge of French construction law and familiarity with FIDIC contracts and common law contract principles
- Proven experience managing contractual notices, claims, variations, and dispute-related matters
- Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken
- Strong legal drafting skills with the ability to prepare clear, precise, and enforceable contractual correspondence
- Proficient in MS Office applications and document management systems
- Structured, detail-oriented, and highly organized with strong deadline management capabilities
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with project, commercial, engineering, and legal stakeholders
- Experience in Data Centre, critical infrastructure, or large-scale EPC projects is considered a strong advantage
