Tropicana Laughlin is seeking a motivated, service‑driven Hourly Restaurant Supervisor for the Carnegies Café—someone who leads by example, supports their team, and ensures every guest enjoys warm, attentive Caesars‑style hospitality.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant
- Delegate tasks and ensure smooth daily operations
- Evaluate, coach, and discipline employees as needed
- Assist in resolving guest concerns with professionalism and care
- Provide Caesars Family Style Service to guests and team members
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support restaurant success
Supervisory Responsibilities
As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will:
- Directly supervise restaurant staff
- Interview, hire, and train employees
- Plan, assign, and direct daily work
- Appraise performance and reward achievements
- Address complaints and resolve issues
- Enforce company policies and procedures in alignment with Tropicana Entertainment standards
- Ability to perform all essential duties with professionalism and consistency
- Knowledge of company policies including fire and safety regulations
- Strong communication and leadership skills
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Three to six months of related experience in a restaurant, hotel, or casino environment
Certificates, Licenses & Registrations
- Current Health Card and Alcohol Card
Language Skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to present information clearly in one‑on‑one or small group settings
Computer Skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and POS systems
