WHAT WE’LL NEED
The Senior District Manager, based out of Tampa Bay, Florida, provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for multiple districts within their region, ensuring alignment with Wingstop’s long-term business objectives. This role is critical in driving operational excellence, developing high-performing District Managers and General Managers, and ensuring all restaurants consistently deliver exceptional guest experiences, strong financial performance, and full compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
The Sr. DM serves as a key link between field operations and senior leadership, championing company culture while scaling best practices across the organization.
Leadership & People Development
- Lead, coach, and develop District Managers to drive performance, accountability, and succession planning across multiple markets
- Build a strong leadership pipeline by mentoring high-potential talent and ensuring readiness for future roles
- Partner with District Managers and General Managers to create and execute business and people development plans
- Provide guidance on employee relations, including progressive discipline, terminations, and conflict resolution
- Foster a culture of respect, recognition, and accountability that reflects Wingstop’s brand values
- Oversee recruiting strategies to ensure restaurants are staffed with high-quality talent at all levels
- Ensure effective onboarding, training, and ongoing development programs are consistently executed
Operational Excellence
- Ensure all restaurants meet or exceed company standards for food quality, service, cleanliness, and safety
- Drive consistency across districts by implementing and reinforcing operational processes and best practices
- Monitor compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA guidelines
- Partner with Facilities and Operations teams to maintain restaurants to company standards
- Utilize company tools and resources to coach and develop high-performing teams
Ensure clear and consistent communication flows from senior leadership through District Managers to all restaurant team members
Financial & Business Performance
- Own regional financial performance, including sales growth, profitability, and cost control across multiple districts
- Analyze P&L statements, identify trends, and implement strategies to improve performance
- Partner with District Managers to develop and execute business plans that drive revenue and profitability
- Monitor and optimize labor, food costs, and operating expenses to meet or exceed company targets
Set aggressive but achievable goals aligned with company objectives
Strategic Execution
- Translate company initiatives into actionable plans across districts
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements and scalability
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with Restaurant Support Center teams
- Drive continuous improvement through data analysis, field insights, and performance metrics
- Act as a brand ambassador, reinforcing Wingstop’s mission to serve the world flavor

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and adaptable to new systems
- Minimum of 7–10+ years of food service, retail, or restaurant leadership experience, with multi-unit oversight
- Proven success managing multiple districts or large regions
- Strong financial acumen with expertise in P&L analysis and business planning
- Demonstrated ability to lead leaders and build high-performing teams
- Deep knowledge of labor laws and compliance standards
- Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- High level of initiative, accountability, and strategic thinking
- Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
