
Mental Health Coach - Emotional Fitness & Recovery Support
Job Description
CuraLinc Healthcare is seeking a Mental Health Coach to deliver short-term, solution focused on coaching that helps program participants build and maintain their emotional fitness. Coaches support a broad range of wellness topics including general emotional wellbeing, mindfulness, meditation, and sleep fitness. While also providing specialized coaching for participants in addiction recovery to help maintain sobriety with skill development to support long-term well-being. Mental Health Coaches also assist program participants with referrals to counseling or other higher levels of care when needed. This is an ideal role for independent licensed clinicians who are passionate about employee mental health, addiction recovery support and removing barriers to care and who want to drive positive clinical and workplace outcomes within a rapidly growing organization.

Primary Responsibilities
- Work Full-Time (40 Hours Per Week)
- Provide Short-Term Coaching to a Caseload of Program Participants Through Weekly Virtual (Video) Coaching Sessions and/or Text
- Provide Recovery Coaching to Participants in the Substance Abuse Disorder Program, Including Identifying Level of Treatment Required, Weekly Coaching Sessions (Up To 3) and Relapse Prevention
- Facilitate Weekly Recovery Groups
- Provide Follow Ups for the LSUD Program up to 2 Years
- Develop an Individualized Coaching Plan to Address the Unique Sub-Clinical Needs for Each Participant (I.E. Meditation, Mindfulness, Sleep Fitness, Relapse Prevention)
- Provide Mental Health Advocacy and Navigation to Participants in Need of Higher Levels of Care, Including Counseling or Therapy
- Assist with Referrals to Other Employer-Sponsored Health Management Resources, When Appropriate
- Participate in Active Case Management
- Perform Timely Follow-Up with Participants to Ensure Connection to Care, Program Satisfaction and Determine the Outcome and Impact of Services
- Maintain Accurate and Complete Records in Compliance with State, HIPPA, Ethical and Departmental Guidelines
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Master's Degree in a Mental Health Discipline (E.G. - Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy)
- Clinical Licensure to Practice Independently in One or More States and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC)
- Minimum of Two Years of Direct Counseling Experience Using Evidence-Based Treatment Approaches
- Minimum of 3 Years’ Professional Experience Working in Substance Abuse Treatment Settings and Providing Direct Treatment to Participants
- Experience Providing Mental Health Coaching via Virtual (Video) Platforms
- Familiarity and Comfort with Technology to Train and Work Remotely (E.G. - Microsoft Office Suite, Contact Management Systems, Web-Based Software, Soft Phone)
- Ability to Maintain a Full Coaching Caseload
- Prior Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Experience a Plus
