Product & Process Solutions Program Manager - Video Safety Operations - Trust & Safety

About the Team The Video Safety Operations – Product and Process Solutions team plays a critical role in ensuring TikTok remains a safe, reliable, and scalable platform for its global community. The team partners closely with Product, Policy, Engineering, and Operations teams to translate new product features, policy updates, and operational improvements into scalable workflows that support Trust & Safety operations worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive operational projects end-to-end, supporting the rollout of new product features, moderation processes, and workflow improvements across Video Safety Operations.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders including Product, Policy, Engineering, Data, and Operations teams to gather requirements, align on implementation strategies, and ensure successful execution.
• Design and improve operational workflows that support large-scale content moderation systems, identifying opportunities to simplify processes and improve efficiency.
• Support change management and feature launches, including implementation planning, process documentation, and operational readiness for new initiatives.
• Analyze operational data and workflow performance to identify bottlenecks, risks, and opportunities for automation or optimization.
• Track project milestones and implementation progress, ensuring stakeholders remain aligned and projects are delivered on schedule.
• Help scale global operational initiatives, working with regional teams to support various project launches.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or above in Business, Operations, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Public Policy, or a related field
• Internship, academic project, research, startup/founder experience, or early professional experience in product, operations, technical programs, consulting, analytics, or related areas.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with data to drive decisions and process improvements.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects or initiatives through coursework, internships, extracurricular leadership, research projects, or work experience.
• Comfortable collaborating with technical stakeholders including Product Managers, Engineers, and Data teams.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills in oral and written English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to product development environments, platform operations, technical systems, or product-facing roles through internships, projects, or work experience.
• Experience working with SQL, Python, data analysis tools, dashboards, or workflow automation tools.
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts, LLM applications, AI/ML systems, or content moderation technologies.
• Previous founder experience, startup experience, or experience building products/projects from concept to implementation is a plus.
• Interest in Trust & Safety, platform operations, and building scalable operational systems.
