Responsible for cost effective procurement of Latex , Raw Materials and packing material for Biyagama Plant and meeting with inventory objectives. Engage with Global teams of Marketing , Regulatory Affairs , Engineering , Research and Development for Development of New art works for packing materials.

What your role will be?
- Ensure that all packing materials required by the organization are procured in accordance with relevant procedures, specifications and quality requirement at the best price and terms possible in a timely and effective manner.
- Ensure that stocking levels and re-stocking activities are in accordance with agreed policies and programs, meet the Company's needs and minimized cost of holding them.
- Ensure that direct materials, required by the organization are procured in accordance with relevant procedures, specifications and quality requirement at the best price, longest credit period and terms possible in a timely and effective manner.
- Monitor the price movements of packing materials and track the price movement on a periodic basis.
Develop and maintain an effective periodic reporting system of relevant procurement activity in accordance with managerial needs.
Liaise closely with Planning Department/ Production Department on urgent needs in order to ensure that their requirement are adequately serviced.
- Responsible to conduct Vender Audits as per company Quality System.
What will you bring to Ansell?
Degree in Business Administration , Management or Supply Chain Management
Minimum 04 years’ experience in Local and foreign Procurement preferably in a Large Manufacturing organization.
Knowledge on Imports and exports procedures including obtaining approvals from BOI, Customs and other regulatory authorities.
Knowledge and Skills on Supply Market analysis, market segmentation, Developing supply strategies / Contract Management / Managing Inventory / Supplier evaluations
Supply Price Analysis
QA procedures related to purchasing.
Finance / Banking procedures related to Export / Import (TT / DP / LC)
ISO Documentation
Negotiating skills
Computer literacy - MS Office
