Position Summary:
The Quality Manager will ensure all quality systems comply with customer, industry, environmental, safety, and other appropriate regulatory standards as well as develop and execute plans to achieve compliance with new or updated standards.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proficiency in governing compliance to AS9100, ISO 9001 & other industry and regulatory Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or related field preferred
- Minimum 5 years of direct Quality Management experience in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated ability to execute quality system requirements utilizing quality KPI’s and FMEA/PFMEA techniques in a design and manufacturing environment
- Long Term Organic Growth - establish a Continuous Improvement program that drives overall business growth by being focused on Effective RCCA/CAR’s, First Pass Yield, Reduction / Elimination of RMAs, Material scrap, Rework, and overall Cost of Poor Quality.
- Champion and lead QA resources to drive a customer-centric, total quality culture
- Advocate of Training programs and Environmental Health & Safety support and awareness thereof

Responsibilities:
- QMS (quality management system) Continuous improvement - Develops, documents, and implements best practices across the entire organization to ensure compliance with customer, industry, and regulatory standards
- Establishes a Voice of the Customer (VOC) program to drive an internal/external customer-centric, total quality culture across the organization.
- Develops, implements, and governs quality systems to capture, monitor, and manage product and process quality to support company's tactical and strategic business goals and objectives.
- Monitors and analyzes key quality and business process performance metrics/indicators as part of total quality management, and makes recommendations and implements process improvements.
- Prepares for and represents the organization at customer, supplier, ISO, and related audits
- Leads and directs Quality Assurance resources working collaboratively with all functions to drive the Total Quality goals of the Company in a way that leads by example, holds people accountable, and utilizes data to make informed decisions.
- Establishes, implements, and monitors a Continuous Improvement program focused on reducing/eliminating overall Cost of Poor Quality through Effective RCCA/CAR’s, First Pass Yield, Reduction / Elimination of RMA’s, Material Scrap, and Rework.
- Manages Quality resources to ensure timely and complete execution of MRB, FAI’s, RCCA/CAR with active collaboration across all functions.
- Identifies and creates developmental plans for a high-performance quality organization.
- Establishes, implements, and maintains a robust corrective action process, inclusive of failure mode and effects analysis, lean / six sigma manufacturing principles across all functions.
- Manages responses for customer-related quality issues, including failure analysis, corrective actions, etc. in conjunction with other functional areas.
- Assists Product Management, Inside Sales, and Engineering teams by reviewing customer quality requirements and providing input when required on Customer RFQ’s , PO’s and new business and product development opportunities.
- Coordinates internal/external resources to execute customer and or new product qualification programs.
- Establishes and implements a robust quality program, including audit inspection/test processes, supplier qualification/audits, FAI’s, audits, etc. in conjunction with operations.
- Identifies, develops, and implements processes and training programs needed to support tactical and strategic Total Quality goals and objectives.

Pay Transparency:
Winchester Interconnect Corporation is committed to pay transparency. The pay range for this position is 115 -120k per year, plus incentive compensation. Exact salary will be contingent upon your experience, education, skills, and any other factors Winchester Interconnect Corporation considers relevant to the hiring decision.
