2360 - 125 - Supervisor

Sunday - Thursday (6:00 p.m. - 2:30 a.m.) Directly supervise hourly employees.  Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.  Responsibilities include training new employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Work with freight carriers to ensure proper loading and shipments Coordinate the warehouse activities of the pulling of finished goods. Work with Quality Control department to resolve and prevent quality issues. Interpret job orders to workers and assign duties; establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules. Oversee employees to ensure the correct operation of equipment and machines; coordinate employees to maintain the most effective workflow. Must have ability to operate Ten-key, fax machine, office copier and computer.  general knowledge of JDE, Microsoft Office and computer based shipping/receiving experience required.  Forklift experience preferred.  Ability to effectively communicate with people of various backgrounds and educational levels required.
